Ornament atrium Port Authority, 2000

Designed by the artist Thomas Weil 2001:
The art wall (2001), a powder-coated steel plate, reads like an artistic reconstruction of the architects’ design process working within a labyrinth of ideas spanning more than a century both in colour and in the multiplicity of directions. The artist Thomas Weil comments: “Spatiality, a basic orthogonal structure and an octagonal geometry offer multiple ways of reading the space, introducing the viewer to ever new insights. In an invisible dialogue, architecture is sometimes at the forefront and art at other times.”
