The Office

GATERMANN + SCHOSSIG was founded as an architecture studio in Cologne in 1984 by Dörte Gatermann and Elmar Schossig († 2009) and is known for its strong claim with regard to technical and sustainability aspects, as well as its multiple- prizewinning innovations. The office deals with all classic architectural matters through to general planner services at the highest level of design and technology. Over a 30-year period, numerous buildings have been erected that have attracted international attention. The architects achieved their greatest successes in administrative and industrial buildings, cultural facilities and housing. The work of the office has been honoured with over 150 competition, prizes and awards. The office is led by Sven Gaeßler with Prof. Dörte Gatermann and Jan Rübenstrunk as partner. Since August 2020 GATERMANN + SCHOSSIG Architekten are called SUPERGELB ARCHITEKTEN.
